The end of the world is approaching. People handle this in different ways, and here's a few of them. The government is evidently complicit in this, but they refuse to explain, and the president seems clueless. The Avalon Corporation, a mysterious corporation who dabbles in marine biology, space exploration and drink production has refused to give information on their newest space station, and the environmentalist group, The Pit, is growing ever so suspicious. As a group of partygoers hear a mysterious noise from a few blocks away and scramble for survival, the people who knew this was coming are already prepared. Has large monsters, explosions, and weirdly energizing energy drinks.
And Other Games is heavily inspired by The Cloverfield Franchise, The Sunlandic Twins by of Montreal and Golden Rules for Golden People by Pretty & Nice. This is purely a story I'm doing for fun, and it's a testament of love for horror, sci-fi, atompunk, kaiju movies and the art of found footage.
The Avalon Corporation : A weirdly suspicious company, with several different smaller companies underneath it. Avalon itself focuses on exploring the ocean, spearheaded by marine biologist and entrepeneur, Montgomery "Monty" Calliff. They recently uncovered a bunch of ancient creatures underneath the sea, and angered them with experiments
Galactic Fizz : A fizzy energy drink sold by The Avalon Corporation which has mysteriously good properties and side effects. Mainly worked on by Nobuki Yoshida, an... engineer...? From Japan? Something isn't right here.
Roboto Condensed : The group of scientists dedicated to the Black Knight Space Station, a station sent up into space to monitor.. whatever this mysterious thing going on with humanity is. Spearheaded by Nobuki Yoshida's twin brother, who only goes by Dr. Yoshida.
Monty's assistant is named Calvert Tycho and he's very up in Monty's work. Calvert tends to be Monty's straight man, and keeps track of his planner.
Nobuki Yoshida is a very smart engineer who works for Galactic Fizz. His "twin brother", Dr. Yoshida, is actually a clone of him, but nobody knows this. Nobuki has minimal amounts of evil intent and honestly just likes being a little bitch sometimes.
Roboto Condensed also has a space station called The Black Knight Space Station, which has a crew of 6 and things are... going strangely up there. The Black Knight was created to monitor The Earth and the creatures found by Avalon.
The Pit : An environmentalist group dedicated to exposing Avalon and their mistakes. Their communication takes place mostly online, however they have a hidden underground bunker where they sometimes meet up. The group is relatively small, and includes some few people. Some of them have even gone missing, which worries the rest majorly.
The Partygoers : Some friends arrange a party for their friend after getting the job offer of a lifetime, but little did they know the party was going to go wildly awry after the building a few blocks over topples and they hear a mysterious sound. The entire thing is caught on camera.
The Bunker : 2 survivalists and a hacker walk into a bunker. They're called crazy by the larger population, but little does the larger population know Avalon are disturbing the peace of something ancient, and they don't want to be the first to get their brains smashed into the wall when the apocalypse does come.
Princeblade : A secret spy group, who runs around trying to fix this mess. Do they succeed? Not at all. Do they kill a LOT of people? Yes. Are they totally in on it? Yeah.
